Chemical Use Assessments
A chemical use assessment is the starting point for accessing substance use disorder services. The assessment is a face-to-face interview with a qualified professional. The interview can take up to two hours of time and the goal is to gather information regarding background history, including substance use, and to discuss available options for services.

We are immensely grateful that you have made the courageous decision to embark on a new start in your recovery journey. Choosing to seek help and support is a remarkable step, and we are honored that you have placed your trust in us. We are fully committed to providing the assistance, guidance, and resources you need to achieve your goals, and we will be with you every step of the way!

Housing Support Services

A home is a place where people can work on other aspects of their lives to create a healthier future. It is the foundation for changing lives. Clients in our Community Housing Supports are housed throughout the community in their own units under their own leases. The program formerly known as Scattered Site Group Residential Housing (GRH) pays for room and board for seniors and adults with disabilities who have low incomes. The program aims to reduce and prevent people from living in institutions or becoming homeless. This service is offered to clients who qualify for long term homelessness and are receiving treatment programming within our agency. The Housing Case Manager works with the individual to determine if they qualify for funding support, assists with establishing stable residency in their own apartment, and offers long term support in further developing one’s living skills in their community.

Peer Support

Our peer support specialists are individuals who have successfully overcome addiction themselves, providing a unique perspective and understanding of the struggles faced by those seeking recovery. Support can be social, emotional, or practical support focusing on our client’s wellbeing. We also have staff who are certified in Harm Reduction and Brain Injury Specialists.

NALOXONE ACCESS POINT

A Naloxone Access Point (NAP) is a publicly accessible pick-up site for naloxone kits. Through the Steve Rummler HOPE Network, our agency has partnered to help improve community access to the life-saving overdose reversal medication. Naloxone is a prescription medicine that reverses an opioid overdose. It cannot be used to get high and is nonaddictive. Naloxone is safe and effective. Emergency medical professionals have used it for decades.

Community Naloxone Training

The opioid epidemic has become a major public health crisis and it is affecting communities across the country. We are offering fellow nonprofits free community training on Naloxone. By organizations taking steps to ensure that their staff members are trained in the use of Narcan, a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose, we can battle this epidemic and reduce the stigma around substance use disorder together.

If you or an organization is interested in scheduling a training (in-person or virtual) message or give us a call today!
